Jury – Feature Films

Maxime Lachaud
Journalist and writer of essays fascinated by underground art and specialized in South-American culture. Founder of music magazine “Douche froide”, author of “Carnets noirs II” and “Obskure Opus 1” about the neo-gothic culture, of “Redneck Movies” and co-author of “Reflets dans un œil mort” on Mondo Movies. Since 2015 he is also the art director of the Groland festival “Fifigrot”.
Dirk Van Extergem
Dirk Van Extergem – Festival Director, Brussels, Belgium As a specialist of Genre cinema, he is the coordinator of the Offscreen Film Festival, the annual meeting for cult and alternative movies connoisseurs happening every year during three weeks in March, in Brussels. He's also the film programmer of the « B to Z » series at Brussels Cinematek and of « Mondo Culto », a season dedicated to cult films at Cinema RITCS.
Laurence Viallet
Laurence Viallet is a Paris-based publisher and translator who has been supporting subversive, cutting-edge writing since 1999. She founded the "Désordres" series, before going on to create her own independent press, "Editions Laurence Viallet." To date, she has published French translations of such writers as Michael Gira, Peter Sotos, Dennis Cooper, Kathy Acker, David Wojnarowicz, ... In addition, she's a member of the jury of the Prix Sade.

Jury – Short Films

Angela Christlieb
She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Berlin under Valie Export, Heinz Emigholz and Elfi Mikesch before moving to New York in 1997. After producing short films and working at the Anthology Film Archives and Filmmakers Coop, she developed her first feature, the awarded documentary “Cinemania”, directed experimental shorts, worked with Christoph Schlingensief, and finally moved to Vienna, attracted by the city’s experimental scene.
Julien Nitzberg
This kid from the Bronx, responsible for the documentary “The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia”, has also written scripts for HBO, SHOWTIME, TNT, USA and NBC. In the world of theater, he wrote and directed the controversial musical about terrorism, “The Beastly Bombing or a Terrible Tale of Terrorists Tamed by the Tangles of True Love”. Praised by the Huffington Post, it was awarded LA Weekly Theater Critics Musical of the Year Award. He is currently scripting a feature film in partnership with Jeff Feuerzeig (“The Devil and Daniel Johnston”).
Lucie Lux
Lucie Lux likes to play with her pen, regardless of the size. She has commited a few misdeeds, including an history of rock from the sex angle (« Sex Is Rock’n’Roll”). She also enjoys to distort the codes of pornography in a playful and lecherous sense for various media: printed matter, radio, games...
