Woodcutter

Woodcutter is the second short film directed by Yufit and is a typical, eccentric and absurd comedy with endless non-stop slapstick fighting, chasing, murders and suicides which are intercut with Soviet symbols of peace and freedom - white doves flying away from the hands of 'pioneers' - and documentary footage of the pioneers' everyday lives.

Daddy, Father Frost Is Dead

"Daddy, Father Frost Is Dead", the first necrorealist feature, is an experimental horror film with ironic and poetic turns, loosely based on Tolstoy's The Vampire Family. A father witnesses several bizarre events. His son commits suicide, respectable middle-aged men partake of SM and his family cherishes morbid preoccupations.
