The film title is borrowed from a song by “Today Is the Day”. This indie rock band appeared in the early days of the ‘90s, standing out for its radicality and nonconformist compositions. Founder and singer Steve Austin, a tormented poet who exorcises himself by wailing his lyrics to complex and dissonant arrangements, baring his obsessions and traumas without any limit or prudishness. Touching, sincere, without artifice, his words reveal the mind of a reserved human being, above all an absolute artist, exposing himself like an open book.
