Michel Piccoli is Themroc, an average worker living in an average town amongst average people. Rebellious against any kind of authority, he walls himself up in his tenement, literaly turning it into a cave, only to demonstrate his savage instincts. An anti-establishment work par excellence, “Themroc” rejects all the founding principles of our hierarchic consumer society. Faraldo plays with it, substituting the speech with shouts and shrieks, and depics the worst taboos, whether incest or cannibalism.
