Pigs

Lynn Webster escapes from the psychiatric ward in which she was committed after murdering her father, who had been abusing her. She finds shelter in a hotel-bar owned by Zambrini, a man who raises hogs by feeding them human cadavers. Could Zambrini be the father she has always seeked to find? And what sort of relationship will Lynn build with her host and his voracious animals? Redneck movie with avant-garde tendency with “Poor Pretty Eddie” vibes, with its visual and audio ambiance with traits of hallucinations substance and in form. Degenerated rurality, and a movie even more disturbing considering that it is the actor/filmmaker’s own daughter who plays in it. Between hysteria, sexual tension and surrealistic fable.
